Founded in 1982 by an active Paramedic, Big Country Supply was the result of an idea born of frustration.

In his EMS Career our Founder observed that Public Safety Personnel had to shop at many different places to obtain the most basic of supplies and even those supplies were often not well suited for the task. His idea was to put those basic needs for Police, Fire, and EMS Personnel under one roof. Little did he know that he was on the early cutting edge of what was to become a new standard for marketing to public safety professionals across the nation. Many companies have since grown into the Public Safety Supply field.

What continues to make Big Country Supply unique in our age is that we remain an independent. Big Country Supply is not captive to any supplier, not a subsidiary of any larger company, and buys 99.9% of its inventory direct from factories.
